Women’s Cross Country Finishes 38th Saturday

BOSTON, MA – The Merrimack women’s cross country team finished 38th overall Saturday at the New England Championships at Franklin Park.

Ashley Sarris led the way finishing 164th in a time of 20:09. Right behind her was Katelyn Meagher, who placed 195th in 20:29. Also placing were Jackie Chase (242nd, 21:21), Jennifer George (250th, 21:34) and Jennifer Richard (265th, 21:52).

Boston College placed first in the meet, with Brown and Williams finishing second and third. Stonehill was the top Northeast-10 school, finishing 18th overall.

Cross Country hosts its Alumni Meet next Saturday at 10 a.m.
