Pickert Earns Second Straight Libero of the Week Award

NORTH ANDOVER, MA – Sophomore libero Alyssa Pickert (Tinley Park, IL) picked up her second-straight Northeast-10 Libero of the Week award.

Pickert, a Northeast-10 All-Conference third team selection and three-time NE-10 Player of the Week, led the Warriors to the Northeast-10 Championship with 6.91 digs per game, totaling 76 in 11 sets at the tournament. She tallied 28 digs in a 3-0 win over Bentley in the semifinals, setting a career-high for a three set match.

Merrimack will make its second straight NCAA Tournament appearance on Thursday as the fifth seed and will take on fourth-seed Georgian Court at 5 p.m. in New Haven, Connecticut.
