Volleyball Defeats UMass Lowell 3-0 in NE-10 Quarterfinals

PLEASANTVILLE, NY – Ale Kuncaitis (Canton, MA) tallied 10 kills and 16 digs, leading Merrimack to a 3-0 win over UMass Lowell Friday night in the Northeast-10 Quarterfinals.

With the win, the Warriors (19-8), ranked second in the tournament will take on third-ranked Bentley University Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Northeast-10 Semifinals, with the winner advancing to the championship later Saturday night.

Game scores were 25-18. 25-11, 25-15.

Molly Cindric (Westlake Village, CA) added nine kills and 14 digs, while Elyse Lorenz (Frankfort, IL) notched 41 assists and four digs.

Merrimack forced 18 Lowell attack errors in the victory.
