Volleyball Escapes with 3-2 Win over Le Moyne; NE-10 Tournament is Next

SYRACUSE, NY – The Merrimack volleyball team wrapped up
its regular season with a 3-2 victory over Le Moyne Saturday,
finishing second overall in the Northeast-10 Conference.
Game scores were 19-25, 25-22, 25-19, 23-25 and 15-13.
Molly Cindric (Westlake Village, CA) posted a
season-high 24 kills and added 14 digs in the win. Ale
Kuncaitis (Canton, MA) (21 digs, 10 kills) and
Elyse Lorenz (Frankfort, IL) (44 assists, 15 digs)
also tallied double-doubles. Megan Murray (Rancho Santa
Margarita, CA) chipped in with nine kills, while
Alyssa Pickert (Tinley Park, IL) notched a
team-high 23 digs.
Merrimack overcame 34 attack errors and 13 receiving errors and
was aided by 35 Dolphin attack errors.
The Warriors finish the regular season with a perfect 11-0 road
record, marking the first time in school history they were
undefeated in their road games.
Merrimack (18-8, 13-1 NE-10) will take on the seventh-seed UMass
Lowell Riverhawks in the Northeast-10 Quarterfinals on Friday at
7:30 p.m. at Pace University.
