Volleyball Blanks Assumption 3-0; Improves to 9-0 in Conference

NEW HAVEN, CT – The Merrimack volleyball team improved to
9-0 in the conference with a 3-0 win over Assumption Tuesday
night.
Game scores were 25-12, 25-11, 25-9.
Ale Kuncaitis (Canton, MA) led the way with a
double-double on 15 digs and 10 kills, while Megan Murray
(Rancho Santa Margarita, CA) added eight kills and four
service aces. Alyssa Pickert (Tinley Park, IL)
grabbed 19 digs, while Molly Cindric (Westlake Village,
CA) tallied eight kills, four digs, and three block
assists.
Merrimack committed just seven attack errors, while hitting .311,
compared to 26 Greyhound errors. The Warriors tallied 11 service
aces, led by four from Murray and three from Elyse Lorenz
(Frankfort, IL) and Heidi Wroblicky (Irvine,
CA). Lorenz added 32 assists and six digs.
Merrimack (14-7, 9-0 NE-10) hosts Southern New Hampshire Friday at
7 p.m. and Stonehill Saturday at 1 p.m. The Warriors will honor
their senior class as part of Senior Day before the game on
Saturday.
