Volleyball Cruises to Eighth Straight Conference Win, 3-1 over Pace

PLEASANTVILLE, NY – The Merrimack volleyball team won its
second match in less than 18 hours with a 3-1 victory over Pace
University Saturday.
Game scores were 25-17, 25-14, 23-25, 25-18.
Ale Kuncaitis (Canton, MA) led the way with a
double-double on 17 kills and 11 digs, while Elyse Lorenz
(Frankfort, IL) added 50 assists. Merrimack tallied 13
service aces, including five from Lorenz and four from
Kuncaitis.
Lisa Barr (Alberta, Canada) chipped in with 13
kills and seven digs, while Molly Cindric (Westlake
Village, CA) had nine kills and eight digs in three games.
The Warriors forced 34 Setter errors, 21 attacking and 13
receiving.
With the win, Merrimack (13-7) improves to 8-0 in the conference
and is tied with New Haven for first. The Warriors have six matches
remaining in the regular season before the conference tournament,
beginning Tuesday at Assumption at 7 p.m.
