Volleyball Falls to Mesa State, Western State

GOLDEN, CO - The Merrimack College volleyball team suffered a pair of season-opening losses on Friday, losing to Mesa State and Western State by identical 3-0 scores at the Colorado School of Mines Tournament. The Warriors lost game one to Mesa State 30-23, game two 30-21, and game three 30-23. Against Western State, the Warriors fell 30-15, 30-21 and 30-28. Freshman Molly Cindric (Westlake Village) tallied 15 kills on the day. The Warriors return to action on Saturday when they face Adams State at 3:30 and the Colorado School of Mines at 7:30.
