Adams State, Colorado School of Mines Down Merrimack Volleyball

GOLDEN, CO - The Merrimack College volleyball team concluded its trip to Colorado with two losses on Saturday, falling to Adams State 3-0 and the Colorado School of Mines 3-2 in non-conference action.

Junior Ale Kuncaitis (Canton, MA) tallied a team-high 18 kills and 22 digs against Colorado while freshman Molly Cindric (Westlake Village, CA) notched 10 kills and 14 digs. The Warriors won game one 30-24 before Colorado picked up a win in game two, 30-26. After Merrimack went ahead in the match 2-1 following a 30-25 win in game three, Colorado won game four 30-18 and game five 15-13.

Against Adams State, Kuncaitis posted nine kills while sophomore Lisa Barr (Alberta, Canada) had eight and Cindric finished with six.

The Warriors return to action Wednesday night when they play at Bentley at 7 p.m.
