Womens Tennis Closes Regular Season with 5-4 loss to Saint Michaels

NORTH ANDOVER, MA – The Merrimack women’s tennis
team finished the regular season 9-3 in the Northeast-10 after
losing to Saint Michael’s 5-4 Saturday afternoon.
The Warriors, who will rematch with the Purple Knights in the
Northeast-10 Quarterfinals on Tuesday, await Saint Michael’s
match Sunday against New Haven. If Saint Michael’s defeats
New Haven, who is 1-9 in conference play, the Warriors will finish
fifth and will have to travel to Saint Michael’s for the
quarterfinal match. If the Purple Knights lose, Tuesday’s
match will be at Merrimack.
