Women's Tennis Falls to Stonehill 7-2 Friday

Easton, Mass. - The Skyhawks earned their 11th straight victory
by taking down Merrimack 7-2 on Friday afternoon, and in the
process took sole possession of first place in the NE-10 with a
perfect 10-0 record.
Coming into the contest the Warriors were the only other team
unbeaten in conference play with their 3-0 record. Stonehill won
two of the three doubles matches, with their only loss coming at
No. 2 doubles, to take the early 2-1 lead.
Christina Lucin won both her matches, winning in #2 singles 6-2, 6-4, and teaming with Stellina Saia in #2 doubles for the 8-6 victory.
Merrimack hosts Bentley Sunday at 10 a.m.
