Vickers Voted onto NE-10 All-Championship Team

NORTH ANDOVER, MA - After starting all 20 games of which she was a part of this past fall and leading Merrimack to a semifinal berth, senior captain Jackie Vickers (Norwell, MA) was named to the Northeast-10 Conference women's soccer All-Championship team.
Scoring the Warriors lone goal, Vickers helped Merrimack advance to the semifinals with a win over Adelphi University in penalty kicks before running into the undefeated and eventual Conference champion, College of Saint Rose. Despite the 2-1 loss in the round of four, the Warriors await the results of the NCAA selection show tonight at 7:00pm to see if they qualify for the program's third straight NCAA tournament.
In four year, Vickers appeared in 75 games while recording 58 points on 20 goals and 18 assists. This season, she scored three goals and three assists for the Warriors at midfield.
Set to graduate in May with a degree in Criminology, Vickers was named to the Northeast-10 All-Conference Third Team a week ago.
