Women's Soccer Plays to Draw with Queens

COLCHESTER, VT - Beginning their 2009 year on the road at the Doubletree Classic, the women's soccer team (0-0-1) of Merrimack played to a 2-2 tie with both goals tallied by senior captain Gabrielle Gramprey (Brockton, MA).

In a game the Warriors never led, junior Kerri Domohowski (Saugus, MA) and freshman Marissa Gambale (Swampscott, MA) assisted on Gramprey's goals.

Senior captain Brittany Gustafson (East Hampton, CT) registered a save in the first half while freshman Kiley Horne (Scituate, MA) fought off six shots in the second half and extra time.

Merrimack returns to action on Saturday morning (10:00am) versus Concordia University (CAN) to close out the 2009 Doubletree Soccer Classic hosted by Saint Michael's College.
