
NORTH ANDOVER, MA - Three women's soccer players were named to the NSCAA Scholar All-East Region team. In addition, the women's soccer program was named to the NSCAA College Academic Team.
Senior captain and all-conference and all-region honoree Jen Conway (Douglas, MA) earned first-team honors as the sports medicine major posted a 3.43 grade-point average. Conway is one of three players from the Northeast-10 to make the first team.
Goaltender Shannon Rowan (Fair Haven, NJ) was the lone Northeast-10 player on the second team as was COSIDA Academic All-American Caitlin Hall (Westminster, MA) on the third team.
A total of 376 soccer teams (110 men, 266 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the NSCAA Team Academic Award for the 2007-08 academic year. The Warriors, for the second straight season, were one of 266 schools representing the women's soccer program.
