Six Women’s Soccer Players Named to NEWISA Team


NORTH ANDOVER, MA – Six Merrimack women’s soccer players were named to the New England Women’s Intercollegiate Soccer Association (NEWISA) All-New England team Wednesday.

Shannon Rowan (Fair Haven, NJ), Jen Conway (Douglas, MA) and Gabrielle Gramprey (Brockton, MA) earned first-team honors, while Kerri Domohowski (Saugus, MA), Catie Hall (Westminster, MA) and Jackie Vickers (Norwell, MA) picked up second-team honors.

Merrimack’s six representatives were the most of any school on the NEWISA team.

In her final season, Rowan earned second-team all-conference honors and was named to play in the NEWISA Senior Bowl game. Her classmate Conway was a first-team all-conference and all-region selection and was also chosen to play in the Senior Bowl game. Gramprey, a NSCAA second-team All-American, led the Warriors in scoring, while earning first-team all-conference and all-region honors.

Hall was an Academic All-American for the third time and earned all-conference and all-region honors in her final year as a Warrior.
