Rowan, Conway, Hall Named to NEWISA Senior Bowl

NORTH ANDOVER, MA – Seniors Shannon Rowan (Fair Haven, NJ), Jennifer Conway (Douglas, MA) and Catie Hall (Westminster, MA) have been selected to play in the annual NEWISA Senior Bowl.

The game will be held on December 7 at 11 a.m. at Salem State.

Starting every game in goal this season, Rowan, a third-team Northeast-10 All-Conference selection, was 12-5-2 with a 1.05 goals-against, .811 save percentage and three shutouts. She was the NE-10 Goalkeeper of the Week earlier this season.

Conway, a first-team all-region and all-conference honoree, anchored the Warrior defense this season, limiting opponents to just 21 goals in 19 games.

Hall, a second team all-conference selection this season, moved from forward to defensive midfield, and responded flawlessly, helping the defense in a big way. An ESPN Academic All-American, she contributed one goal and two assists offensively.

Merrimack finished the season 12-5-2 in third place in the Northeast-10. They advanced to the NCAA Tournament before losing to Bridgeport 1-0 in the first round.
