SPRINGFIELD, MA – Brittany Gustafson
scored twice, leading the 22nd-ranked women’s soccer team to
a 3-1 win over American International in the regular season finale
Wednesday.
Gustafson’s two tallies give her five, a career high.
Freshman Khara Roman added an insurance goal
late for her first collegiate tally.
With the win, the Warriors finish the regular season 12-3-2,
10-3-1 (NE-10), good enough for third place in the Northeast-10,
behind Franklin Pierce and Saint Rose.
Ranked third in the East region, they will host a Northeast-10
Quarterfinal match on Sunday at Warrior Field at most likely 1 p.m.
