Three Quick Goals Give Women’s Soccer 4-1 Win over Felician
COLCHESTER, VT. - The Merrimack women's soccer team scored three goals in 5:27 early in the second half giving the Warriors the 4-1 victory over Felician College Saturday morning.
Jeesie DeGraan (Braintree, MA), Brittany Gustafson (East Hampton, CT) and Kara Hennigan (Pawtucket, RI) each scored early in the second half to turn a scoreless tie into a rout pretty quickly.
After Felician cut the score to 3-1 at 73:46, Colleen Hall (Westminster, MA) answered just 50 seconds later with her first of the season.
Merrimack fired 32 shots, 17 of them on goal to improve to 2-0 on the season.
The Warriors take on Dowling at 1 p.m. on Monday in Oakdale, NY.
