Corinne Baker enters her second year at Merrimack College as the
Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach.
Baker guided the Warriors to a fourth place finish in 2008 with an
8-6 overall record, 7-3 in the conference. Merrimack led the
conference in goals per game, ground balls and caused turnovers,
and finished second assists, fewest turnovers and draw
controls.
A 2006 graduate of Bridgewater State College, she owns the school
record for draw controls in a game, season and career. She was a
two-time captain and 2006 Prague Cup selection. While at BSC, Baker
also was the Head Coach of the Bridgewater Youth Lacrosse Team from
2004-2006.
She was an Assistant Coach for Division III Lacrosse and Field
Hockey at University of New England at Biddeford, Maine in August
of 2006, where her duties included scouting, recruiting, and
organizing the program in-season and out-of-season. Following her
season there, Baker spent one season as the Assistant Coach for
Northeast-10 rival Bryant University.
Baker has coached at numerous camps and clinics in every
off-season, from private camps like Top Gun and Player’s
Choice, to university run clincs at Duke University and Brown
University. She is a NCAA Women Coaches Academy Graduate as well,
having attended the 2007 Academy in Indianapolis.
Baker resides in Boston, Massachusetts.
Tiffany Holt enters her first year at Merrimack College as the
assistant Women's Lacrosse coach.
Holt, played at Western Reserve Academy in Hudson, Ohio, and then
went on to play attack for the Battling Bishops at Ohio Wesleyan
University in Delaware, OH. During her 2005 season, the Bishops won
the NCAC conference championship, securing them a spot in the
Division III NCAA playoffs. The Bishops were conference runner-ups
in 2007.
Holt has directed and coached a number of camps and clinics along
with volunteer coaching with the South Eastern Connecticut Youth
lacrosse program.
Holt, currently resides in Mystic, Connecticut but will be moving
to the Boston area shortly.
Ashley Hegarty enters her first season as an assistant coach with the Merrimack women's lacrosse program.
A four-year starter and captain at Bryant University, Hegarty played for team USA in the Prague Cup following graduation and was named MVP against the Czech Republic. At Bryant, she was a member of the Northeast-10 and NEC All-Academic team.
Hegarty attended Andover High School where she received the Coaches Award and Unsung Hero Award.
She has experience coaching at Bryant University lacrosse
clinics and local clinics in Andover, MA.
