Women's Basketball to Sponsor Food Drive at Friday's Exhibition Game

NORTH ANDOVER, MA - The Merrimack women's basketball game will host Laval University from Canada at 7:00 p.m. on Friday in an exhibition game. Instead of charging admission, donations of non-perishable food items and money to donate to Lazarus House will be accepted.

The food items most needed are as follows:

Canned Food Items (vegetables, fruit, tuna, pasta dishes, tomato/spaghetti sauce, soup)
Boxed Food Items (pasta, macaroni and cheese, cake mixes)
Other Needed Items (peanut butter, jell-o)
*Please no glass jars.

Led by captain Amanda Shannon, the Warriors open the regular season on November 15 at Adelphi at 1 p.m. before returning home to face Assumption College in the home and conference opener on November 19 at 5:30 p.m.
