
BOSTON, MA – Adam Holmes finished 19th overall among all racers while the Merrimack men’s cross country team placed seventh at the Northeast Regionals Sunday at Franklin Park.
Holmes was 19th, in a time of 32:25.3, while Nicholas
Santoro was 27th in 33:17.6, and Jefferson
Welch 30th in 33:27.4. John Doherty
(49th, 34:19.1) and Christopher Stanwyck (93rd,
36:23.6) rounded out the top five for Merrimack.
The Warriors finished seventh overall in a combined time of
2:50:03.0. UMass Lowell, who captured the Northeast-10 Conference
Championships two weeks ago, also won the regional, led by Ruben
Senca who won the individual race in 30:36.3. Stonehill was second,
with Southern Connecticut third, Adelphi fourth, St. Rose fifth and
Bentley sixth.
