Men’s Cross Country Finishes Fifth Saturday

BOSTON, MA – The Merrimack men’s cross country team finished fifth Saturday at the Codfish Bowl.

Merrimack had a team score of 137, finishing behind the Greater Boston Track Club (49), Tufts (76), UMass-Lowell (101), Adelphi (119) in the team standings.

Jefferson Welch led the Warriors finishing 11th overall in a time of 26:08. Adam Holmes was 13th, Nicholas Santoro 17th, John Doherty 57th, and Chris Stanwyck 72nd.

The Warriors are off next week and will race in the New England Championships on October 11th at Franklin Park in Boston.
