NEW HAVEN, CT – The Merrimack men’s soccer team,
ranked 22nd nationally, earned revenge from last year’s
Northeast-10 Championship game, defeating Southern Connecticut 4-1
Saturday night.
In a rematch of last year’s NE-10 final, which Southern
Connecticut won in New Haven, the Warriors scored the game’s
first four goals, getting right back in the win column after a
tough loss last Saturday.

Wayne Sygrove all scored with Sygrove and
Sanderson also earning assists.
Rob Pedra stopped three shots in goal, only to see
his shutout bid erased with 36 seconds to play in the game.

matchup Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. at Warrior Field.
