#4 Mens Lacrosse Concludes Regular Season with 13-3 Win over Franklin Pierce

RINDGE, NH – The fourth-ranked Merrimack men’s
lacrosse team improved to 13-1 with a 13-3 victory over Franklin
Pierce Saturday afternoon.
The Warriors (13-1, 8-1 NE-10) will host a Northeast-10 Semifinal
game as the #2 seed on Friday at Warrior Field. Time and opponent
is to be announced.
Greg Rogowski tallied three goals and finishes the regular
season with 210 career goals and 51 this season.
Kevin Laplante, Sean Lavin, Bryan MacPhie, and
Michael Balbuena each scored twice, while
Brad McAdam and Jo Pisano dished
two assists each.
Cory Spinale stopped seven shots in the first half
before giving way to Matt Austin and Dave
Roberto in the final 30 minutes.
Nick Maggio once again controlled the
“X”, winning 13 of 17 draws. The Warriors, who led 5-0
after the first quarter, were 2-for-4 on the man-advantage.
