Todd, Stollery, Cannata Shine on Ice for Warriors

NORTH ANDOVER, MA – With two games remaining in the Warrior hockey season, a large part of their success is due to the freshman class, led by Jesse Todd, Karl Stollery and Joe Cannata.

Each of their performances have merited serious consideration for the Hockey East All-Rookie team.


#7 Karl Stollery:
• first among freshmen defensemen in Hockey East games with 15 points

• first among Hockey East freshmen and third among all HEA defensemen in power play points with 11

• leads Merrimack in minutes played per game

#27: Jesse Todd:
• second among freshmen forwards in Hockey East games with 21 points

• tallied 15 points in his last 13 games

• leads team with 14 conference assists

#35 Joe Cannata:
• two-time Hockey East Defensive Player of the Week

• two-time Hockey East Rookie of the Week

• first goaltender in school history to register a shutout in first career start

• ranks sixth in save pct. (.914) among HEA goaltenders

• leads all freshmen Hockey East goalies in total saves
