Darren Duncan Named Third Team All-American by Daktronics

NORTH ANDOVER, MA - Junior captain Darren Duncan
(Briarwood, NY) was named a third-team All-American by
Daktronics Monday.
Duncan, the first All-American in men’s basketball history
since 1983, led the Warriors to the NCAA East Regional semifinals
for the first time since 2000, leading the conference in scoring
and assists. He ranked second nationally with 230 assists.
Duncan is one of two Division II point guards to be named a
finalist for the Bob Cousy award, given to the top point guard in
the country in all collegiate divisions. The lone captain on a
Warrior squad that posted a 21-9 record, he has been named a
Northeast-10 All-Conference first-team selection for the second
straight season and was a preseason NABC All-American.
