Jeremiah Watts Earns Two Weekly Honors

NORTH ANDOVER, MA – Senior wide receiver Jeremiah
Watts (Clovis, CA) was named the Northeast-10 Co-Player of
the Week and the Boston Herald Offensive Player of the Week
Monday.
Watts set the school record for receptions in a game and a career
with 19 catches and 212 yards in a 52-42 win over Southern
Connecticut. He passed Elfren Quiles’ previous school record
of 18 catches for a game and 134 for a career. Watts enters
Saturday’s game, his final regular season game, with 140
career receptions.
Merrimack (6-3, 5-2 NE-10) hosts Pace University Saturday at 1
p.m. as part of Senior Day. A Warrior win, combined with a Bentley
loss to Stonehill will give Merrimack a share of the Northeast-10
Conference title.
