Tony Johnson Named NE-10 Freshman of the Week

EASTON, MA – Tony Johnson (Lynn, MA) was named the Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week on Monday.

Johnson tallied three sacks and forced two fumbles in 21-16 win at Stonehill last weekend.

This marks the second time he has earned the Freshman of the Week honors, with the first coming after the 42-7 win over Husson.

Johnson is the tenth Warrior to win a weekly honor this season. He leads the Warriors with 10.5 sacks and three forced fumbles.

Merrimack (5-3, 4-2 NE-10) hosts #20 American International Saturday at 1 p.m. as part of Senior Day.
