Four Warriors Named Northeast-10 Athletes of the Week

SOUTH EASTON, MA. – Three football players and one volleyball player received weekly honors Monday by the Northeast-10.

Colin Temple (Rutland, VT) (offense), Jeremiah Watts (Clovis, AZ) (freshman), Andrew Jackson (New Britain, CT) (defense), and Molly Cindric (Westlake Village, CA) were the weekly honorees. It is the second time Cindric has received the honor.

The Merrimack football coaching staff named Watts its offensive player of the week, Jackson the defensive player of the week, and Rich O’Donnell (Stoneham, MA) the special teams player of the week.

A glance at this week’s honorees by the Northeast-10:

Molly Cindric, Merrimack (Fr., OH, Westlake Village, Calif.) - Averaged 6.29 kills per game. Hit .554 while getting 21 digs in two victories this past week, 3-1 over American International and 3-0 over Southern Connecticut.

Colin Temple, Merrimack (Sr., QB, Rutland, Vt.) - Completed 19 of 32 passes for 304 yards and three touchdowns in a 34-20 win over Southern Connecticut.

Andrew Jackson, Merrimack (Jr., DB, New Britain, Conn.) - Intercepted two passes both at the goal line and returned a blocked field goal 85-yards for a touchdown. Also racked up 41 return yards off kickoffs.

Jeremiah Watts, Merrimack (Fr., WR, Clovis, Ariz.) - Caught five passes for 121 yards and two touchdowns, including one touchdown for 60 yards.
