Pinette Named Freshman of the Week

NORTH ANDOVER, MA – Freshman Chris Pinette (Norwood, MA) was named the Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week Monday.

Pinette was 2-0 in his final two starts of the year with a 1.59 ERA in 17 innings. He threw a complete game in a 7-3 win over Stonehill and closes the season allowing one run over eight innings in a 6-3 win over Pace Sunday.

Before Sunday’s game, Pinette was honored for throwing the first no-hitter in school history, a 4-0 win over Philadelphia on March 20.
