Will Rothermel enters his first year with Merrimack College and will assume the role of Assistant Director of Sports Information for the 2009-10 academic year.  He will be the primary media contact for men's soccer, women's soccer, field hockey, men's tennis, women's tennis, men's basketball, women's basketball, baseball and softball.

Prior to arriving at Merrimack, Rothermel earned his Master's Degree in Sport Management from Old Dominion University in the summer of 2009.

He was also the Assistant Sports Information Director at Saint Michael's College in the 2007-08 season, serving as the media contact for 21 varsity sports. A former basketball player at Saint Michael's, Rothermel graduated with a degree in Business Administration and a minor in Economics in 2006.

A native of York, Maine, Rothermel currently resides in North Andover, Massachusetts.
