Brad Davis enters his third year as the Sports Information
Director at Merrimack College. He handles all media relations and
statistical duties for Merrimack's 15 Division II programs as well
as its Division I hockey team. He also supervises all of the media
relations department's student-workers, the athletics
website and oversees all media guide and game program
production.
Davis comes to Merrimack from Bryant University where he served as
the Assistant Director of Sports Communications for 13 months. He
was the chief contact for men's and women's soccer, field hockey,
women's basketball, and baseball and assisted with men's
basketball, football, tennis, golf, track and field, cross
country and softball.
He also was the executive producer of the weekly Comfort Suites
Coaches Show and founded the Bryant Production Group which webcast
all football and basketball games, as well as other selected
events.
Davis graduated from Boston University in May of 2006 with a
degree in broadcast journalism.
Prior to Bryant University, Davis covered high school sports for
the Metro West Daily News in Framingham, MA.
A San Francisco, CA native and CoSIDA member, he also spent time
interning with KGO ABC-7 Sports in San Francisco and in the media
relations department for the NHL's San Jose Sharks.
Davis currently resides in Boston, Massachusetts.
